I’m a little curious as to whether I should borrow solution ideas from the internet in the event that I can’t figure out problems from Dr. Hatcher’s book or whether I should just leave those problems blank / ponder them infinitely / contact people I know and try to work through them.

The latter obviously leads to a more constructive result, but the prior isn’t completely without merit: After all, some problems require an idea that you may or may not be able to personally foster but which – if uncovered – improves your ability / insight later on.
